Union Public House Pub Burger
Union Public House started doing a burger special on Tuesday nights. I've been meaning to get over there for a while and try it out. Last night I finally got my chance and it was great! It's a big, beefy double stacked burger loaded up with beer cheese, house pickles, crispy onions, pickled mustard seed, arugula, and a roasted garlic aioli.
We were not prepared for this monster burger and assumed it was of the smaller double stack variety. Nope, it's the full size patties, just stacked on top of each other. Mine was cooked to a perfect medium and was delicious. I didn't want to put it down!

We chose mac & cheese and UPH's excellent sweet potato fries as our sides. And there are leftovers. Next time we come for this we will split the burger. Fantastic dinner, highly recommend.
PS: we also enjoyed another learning experience and tasting at the Old Hickory Whiskey Bar. This time it was Maker's Mark and we learned a ton about how they finish their Maker's 46 and the new Barrel Select bourbons with custom wood staves. And we purchased a bottle of Old Hickory's own Barrel Select.
